About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience in public accounting. You will work alongside audit and tax professionals to learn industry practices. The program runs from January 2027 through April 16, 2027. You will choose between our audit or tax service groups during the interview process.
What you'll do#
As an audit intern, you will:
- Work with engagement teams to complete audits, reviews, and compilations.
- Gain exposure to 8-12 client engagements across various industries.
- Travel to client sites to perform audit work.
- Compile and analyze financial data.
- Test business transactions and prepare financial statements.
As a tax intern, you will:
- Work with tax professionals on various returns.
- Assist with the preparation of corporate and individual tax returns.
- Conduct tax research and work on tax projections.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Accounting.
- Completion of at least one intermediate accounting course by Spring 2027 is preferred.
- A 3.0 cumulative and major GPA.
- Ability to work 25-40+ hours per week, including Saturdays.
- Strong drive to pursue a career in public accounting.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and initiative.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn.
- Prior work experience is preferred.
