About the role#
Docugami is looking for PhD interns to join our research and development team. You will work alongside our science and engineering staff to address complex problems and contribute to our core technology. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Kirkland, Washington.
What you'll do#
- Research and propose solutions for science problems.
- Work with engineering and product leadership to define a roadmap for science breakthroughs.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate your research into production systems.
- Conduct regular internal science reviews to share your progress.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a PhD in artificial intelligence, natural language processing, machine learning, data science, or mathematics.
- Experience or a strong interest in natural language processing, machine translation, self-supervised learning, active learning, computer vision, statistics, or causal inference.
- Programming skills and familiarity with modern machine learning frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
- A capacity to report and disseminate your results effectively.
- A commitment to scientific and technical excellence.
