DMC Engineering is seeking an Electrical Engineering Co-op for the Summer 2027 term. This position is based on-site in Cincinnati, Ohio, and offers the opportunity to support senior staff on diverse engineering projects. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Assist senior engineers in the creation of electrical schematics.
- Design wiring diagrams, schematic diagrams, and one-line power distribution drawings.
- Create custom control panel layouts and bills of materials.
- Develop and maintain AutoCAD Electrical templates, blocks, and symbol libraries.
- Organize and maintain project drawings and technical information.
- Manage time effectively across multiple simultaneous projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at the University of Cincinnati in an Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.4.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Experience with CAD software, specifically AutoCAD Electrical.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with motors, instrumentation, and control circuits.
