About the role#
As a Financial Planning and Analysis Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, forecasting, and business insights. You will work with financial data and technology to identify trends, improve existing processes, and support business decisions.
What you'll do#
- Prepare monthly reporting packages for Finance and business leaders to help track performance.
- Analyze financial and operational results to identify trends and key business drivers.
- Automate recurring financial reporting using Power BI and AI tools.
- Partner with Finance and business stakeholders on ad hoc financial analyses and reporting requests.
- Support periodic tax-related activities, including tax reconciliations.
- Communicate financial findings and recommendations through data-driven presentations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a sophomore or higher in a four-year undergraduate program, or enrollment in a graduate program.
- Major in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or a similar field.
- GPA of 3.3 or higher.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and basic financial modeling.
- Interest in AI, analytics, automation, or data tools such as Power BI, SQL, Python, or similar technologies.
Location & details#
- Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time during the summer (approximately 40 hours per week) and part-time during the school year (15 to 20 hours per week).
- This is a paid internship.
