About the role#
Dewberry is hiring Site/Civil Engineering Interns for the Summer 2027 term. You will work from our offices in Parsippany or Mt. Laurel, New Jersey. This full-time, paid internship offers hands-on project experience where you will apply classroom knowledge to real-world tasks. Interns participate in workshops, networking events, and a summer-long group project alongside firm leaders.
What you'll do#
- Perform site and civil design for residential, commercial, and industrial developments.
- Contribute to capital improvement projects.
- Prepare technical plans.
- Draft design reports and permit applications.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a B.S. in Civil Engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.

- Locations: Parsippany, NJ or Mt. Laurel, NJ (on-site).
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Compensation: $18.75 to $29.75 per hour, depending on skills and location.
