About the role#
Dewberry is hiring a Site/Civil Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in either our Parsippany or Mt. Laurel, New Jersey offices. You will work on projects for commercial and government clients, gaining hands-on experience through technical tasks and professional development workshops.
What you'll do#
- Perform site and civil design for residential, commercial, and industrial developments.
- Contribute to capital improvement projects.
- Prepare project plans.
- Draft design reports and permit applications.
- Participate in networking events, training workshops, and a summer-long group project.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a B.S. program for Civil Engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.

- Locations: Parsippany, NJ or Mt. Laurel, NJ.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $18.75 to $29.75 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
