About the role#
This internship offers a chance to train with the Front Desk and Call Center team at a multi-property resort. You will work in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, during the summer of 2027. The role is full-time and paid, with a minimum commitment of 10 weeks required. Complimentary housing is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
What you'll do#
- Process guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and special requests.
- Build customer service skills through in-person and phone interactions.
- Anticipate and respond to guest needs.
- Collaborate with the team to establish and meet sales goals.
- Handle online reservations in real time while speaking with customers.
- Run and check daily reports using reservation and tee time software.
- Practice guest recovery to meet expectations.
- Follow opening and closing protocols and service standards.
- Attend and contribute to weekly team meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a sophomore, junior, or senior in a four-year college program.
- Preferred studies in hospitality, resort, or restaurant management.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Availability for a minimum 10-week commitment.
