About the role#
Delek US is hiring interns for the Summer 2027 program. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Krotz Springs, Louisiana. You will work alongside professionals to support department initiatives and gain insight into how your team contributes to business operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist with day-to-day activities, project work, and data analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet department objectives.
- Comply with all safety procedures, rules, and regulations while working in the refinery.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Note that work in the field may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, heights, and outside weather. You may be required to climb, stand, crawl, or enter confined spaces while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the summer program.
- Basic knowledge of engineering principles, IT software, or business/accounting principles depending on your assigned department.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
- A desire for continual learning and self-development.
