About the role#
Delaware Electric Cooperative offers an immersive professional experience for college students. You will explore various aspects of the utility industry through hands-on work and mentorship. This program aims to help you identify your professional passions and future career goals.
What you'll do#
- Learn about the utility industry and how it operates.
- Participate in projects that provide direct benefits to Co-op members.
- Work alongside mentors who provide guidance throughout the summer.
- Gain experience in areas such as Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, IT, Cybersecurity, Human Resources, Safety, GIS, Member Service, or Supply Chain Management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at a college or university.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
Location & details#
- Location: Greenwood, Delaware.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
- Work modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, full-time seasonal position.
