What you'll do#
- Design robotic manipulation and navigation systems for constrained, high-density, real-world environments.
- Integrate vision systems for automated inspection, manipulation, and anomaly detection.
- Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to connect robotics control with real-time data and training pipelines.
- Bring up, prototype, test, and refine robotic hardware and software across our multi-platform fleet and at pilot deployment sites.
- Ensure the reliability, safety, and scalability of robotics solutions for continuous operation.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency with robotics frameworks such as ROS/ROS2, MoveIt, and OpenCV.
- Strong control algorithms.
- Ability to iterate quickly in a startup environment.
- Hands-on experience with embedded systems, sensors, actuators, wiring, and robot bring-up and integration.
- Working understanding of robot mechanics, including arm kinematics, mounting and fixturing, end-effectors, and the physical assembly and debugging of real hardware.
- Demonstrated experience taking systems end-to-end, from prototype to deployed, across multiple subsystems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working hands-on with real robots.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
