About the role#
As a Business Development Intern, you will help grow our presence by building partnerships with robotics companies, research labs, and other organizations in the physical AI ecosystem. You will support pilot deployments, help close strategic deals, and increase our market reach. This role involves working at the intersection of hardware, data, and live deployment.
What you'll do#
- Identify, engage, and qualify potential customers and partners in the robotics and AI space.
- Support the full sales cycle, ranging from initial prospecting and outreach to negotiation and closing.
- Collaborate with the product team to ensure our solutions meet customer needs and operational goals.
- Represent the Robotics Center at trade shows, industry events, and conferences to build brand awareness.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to increase adoption of our hardware, data, and AI training solutions.
What you'll need#
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Comfort managing multi-stakeholder conversations and shifting priorities.
- A proactive, self-starting mindset and a willingness to take ownership of outcomes.
- Ability to work on-site in San Francisco.
- A genuine interest in robotics, AI, or startups is a plus.
- Bonus points for an existing network in the robotics or AI infrastructure industries.
- Experience selling technical products related to AI, machine learning, or industrial automation is helpful.
- Familiarity with hardware, robotics, or data and evaluation solutions.
