About the role#

As an intern within the Advanced Solutions and Applications Engineering department, you will participate in the technical integration of electric traction systems across various client platforms. This role provides exposure to the technologies supporting energy transition in an environment focused on technical excellence and international collaboration.

What you'll do#

• Create and maintain catalogs for Dana traction systems based on product life cycles.
• Participate in internal and client-facing technical meetings.
• Contribute to the integration of electric traction subsystems, including electric motors and inverters, into client platforms.
• Participate in test campaigns, including preparation, execution, data collection, and analysis of results.
• Analyze client technical specifications and system requirements to support internal design review milestones.
• Assist clients with field diagnostics and report observed non-conformities.
• Draft technical documentation, such as test reports, integration procedures, and application notes.
• Support the continuous improvement of internal processes and user training.
• Utilize internal artificial intelligence tools to improve efficiency in problem-solving, documentation, and process optimization.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled in the final year of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrodynamic systems, specifically high-voltage electric motors and inverters.
• Proficiency with CANalyzer, CANoe, Python, or instrumentation and testing tools.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills, with a focus on problem-solving.
• Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work effectively within an international team environment.
