    About the role#

    As an intern in the Advance Solution Engineering and Application Engineering department, you will participate in the technical integration of traction systems into customer platforms. This role involves working with electric motors, generators, and power electronics within the motor vehicle manufacturing industry. You will gain exposure to energy transition technologies in an environment focused on technical rigor and international collaboration.

    What you'll do#

    • Create and support system cataloguing for Dana traction systems based on the product lifecycle.
    • Analyze customer technical specifications and system requirements to support internal design review gates.
    • Contribute to the integration of electric traction subsystems, including motors and inverters, into customer applications.
    • Participate in test campaigns on benches, vehicles, or simulators, including preparation, execution, data collection, and analysis.
    • Assist in the creation of technical documentation such as test reports, integration procedures, and application notes.
    • Diagnose field system issues, report non-conformities, and participate in internal process improvements.

    What you'll need#

    • Final-year bachelor’s or master’s student in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field.
    • Knowledge of electrodynamic systems, specifically high-voltage electric motors and inverters.
    • Experience with CANalyzer/CANoe, Python, or testing and instrumentation tools.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of Atlassian tools like JIRA and Confluence.
    • Strong communication skills and professional proficiency in both French and English (spoken and written).
    • An investigative mindset with strong attention to detail and accountability.
