As a Mechanical Analysis Intern, you will join the Advanced Engineering team to support the development of next-generation electric propulsion systems. You will assist in evaluating new technologies to ensure they meet mechanical requirements for light-duty, commercial, and recreational vehicle applications. You will work under the supervision of experienced engineers on projects involving electric motors and inverters.
What you'll do#
- Perform and document mechanical analyses, including structural, vibrational, and thermal studies.
- Interpret and summarize data from mechanical test results.
- Collaborate with team members to address and resolve technical challenges.
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Execute additional tasks as required within the scope of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Current student in Mechanical Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of structural, vibrational, or thermal/CFD analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Functional proficiency in both French and English (spoken and written).
- Familiarity with strength of materials, electric motor operation, or Python programming is considered an asset.

- Modality: On-site, 37.5 hours per week.
