About the role#
This is a paid, 10-week internship designed for students interested in a career in retail store management. You will work 35 hours per week on-site, gaining hands-on experience in leadership and operations. You will work alongside store managers and district leaders to understand how strategic decisions influence store results and customer satisfaction.
What you'll do#
- Lead a retail team and engage directly with customers.
- Learn day-to-day store operations and management best practices.
- Support operational tasks such as inventory management, merchandise handling, and stocking.
- Analyze business performance and store metrics.
- Complete a business-focused project and present your findings to leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an associate or bachelor's degree program in Business Administration or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between May 2027 and May 2028.
- 1-3 years of customer service experience.
- Availability to work 35 hours per week for the full 10-week program, including evenings and weekends.
- A strong interest in pursuing a career in retail store management.
Location & details#
This is a full-time, on-site role for Summer 2027. Positions are available in Bergen County, New Jersey, specifically in Old Tappan, Dumont, Cresskill, Ridgefield Park, Closter, Englewood, Leonia, Montvale, Westwood, River Edge, Northvale, Teaneck, Tenafly, New Milford, and Fort Lee. Please note that relocation assistance is not provided.
