About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide care to patients. You will help maintain a safe and effective pharmacy environment while gaining professional experience. This role focuses on patient safety, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance within a retail setting.
What you'll do#
- Support pharmacy operations through inventory and workflow management.
- Manage and adopt patient care programs to help customers stay healthy.
- Provide immunizations once you meet state requirements.
- Demonstrate empathy and compassion when interacting with patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with your team to deliver positive health outcomes.
- Foster a culture of enthusiasm, pride, and care within the pharmacy.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, reach overhead, and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Close visual acuity for tasks like reading and data entry.
- Completion of all required training within state guidelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and immunization eligibility are preferred.

- Location: Wadsworth, Ohio.
- Status: Part-time, on-site.
- Pay: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
