About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in delivering patient care programs, modeling our values, and providing authentic care to every patient. This position offers an opportunity to learn and grow professionally while contributing to our goal of improving the quality of health care.
What you'll do#
- Deliver patient care programs and support patient safety.
- Manage pharmacy workflow, inventory, and quality assurance.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and team members.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver better outcomes and foster a culture of enthusiasm.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity, reaching, and stooping.
- Immunization eligibility and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are preferred.
