About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern at our Long Term Care Pharmacy, you will support the daily operations of our dispensing pharmacy. You will work alongside our pharmacists to provide accurate drug screening, processing, and dispensing services. This is a part-time, on-site position based in Ballston Spa, New York.
What you'll do#
- Enter orders and manage inventory.
- Prepare new and refill labels and orders.
- Package and label medications.
- Prepare sterile IV drug products or solutions if required.
- Support patient safety and pharmacy professional practice.
- Offer health screenings and immunizations.
- Adhere to delivery schedules and regulatory requirements.
- Provide customer service.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a US School of Pharmacy.
- An active Pharmacy Intern license in New York.
- You must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
Location & details#
This role is located in Ballston Spa, New York. It is a part-time position with a pay range of $17.00 to $35.29 per hour. Benefits include access to dental, vision, wellness resources, and employee discounts depending on hours worked and eligibility.
