About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide care to patients. You will help manage the daily operations of a retail pharmacy and contribute to a team environment focused on patient health and safety.
What you'll do#
- Ensure a safe and effective pharmacy environment.
- Deliver care to patients and provide customer service.
- Manage pharmacy inventory and workflow, excluding final prescription verification.
- Participate in quality assurance, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs.
- Lead with empathy and collaborate with your team to improve patient outcomes.
- Provide immunizations once you meet state regulations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, reach overhead, and stoop to move items.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Close visual acuity for reading and transcribing.
- Completion of all required training within state guidelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and immunization eligibility are preferred.

- This position is based in MacUngie, Pennsylvania.
- The role is part-time and on-site.
- This is a paid internship.
