About the role#
This engineering service position focuses on the information technologies, functional excellence, and product change management that help our engineering teams work effectively. You will support standardized processes and data repositories to meet the needs of technical practitioners.
What you'll do#
- Apply technical information and knowledge-based activities to fulfill work requests.
- Support information processes including Engineering Standard Work, Value Package Introduction, and product change management.
- Negotiate with technical practitioners to deliver high-quality processes, tools, and specifications.
- Use academic knowledge to make decisions that move projects forward while maintaining quality standards.
- Resolve problems for moderately complex components, products, or systems.
- Execute established work processes independently and contribute to system improvements.
- Coordinate work among technicians or temporary employees when necessary.
- Collaborate with your team to reach group goals and build your professional proficiency.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited U.S. college or university.
- Pursuit of a degree in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Aerospace, Biomedical, or Environmental Engineering.
- A minimum GPA of 2.5 is preferred.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for 10 to 12 weeks.
- Current residency within the continental United States.
- Willingness to learn from others on the job.
- F-1 visa students must have approved Curricular Practical Training or Occupational Practical Training before the assignment begins.
- Proficiency in request fulfillment, service level management, solution assessment, requirements elicitation, and knowledge management.

- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: Monthly salary of $4,200 to $4,900 for Bachelor's students, $6,000 for Master's students, and $7,000 for PhD students.
