About the role#
We are looking for a law student to join our team for a summer internship. You will receive training and mentorship while gaining exposure to practice areas such as intellectual property, commercial transactions, litigation, labor and employment, and cybersecurity. We aim to align your projects with your specific legal interests.
What you'll do#
- Perform legal research and analysis.
- Draft contracts using templates and established procedures.
- Attend commercial negotiations, mediations, and client meetings.
- Lead legal projects and process improvements.
- Examine legal data to determine strategies.
- Analyze potential outcomes of cases, legislation, and regulation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ABA approved law school as a full-time student.
- A minimum GPA of 2.5 is preferred.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for a period of 10 to 12 weeks.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and personal integrity.
- Ability to balance different stakeholder interests.
- An action-oriented mindset and strong collaborative skills.
- Current residency within the continental United States.
Location & details#
- This internship is based in Columbus, Indiana, or Indianapolis, Indiana, with remote options available.
- The program term is Summer 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
- The monthly salary is $6,300.
