About the role#
This summer internship provides an opportunity to support human resources operations within a corporate function. You will serve as a primary point of contact for employees and managers, helping them navigate HR processes and inquiries. The role focuses on delivering consistent support, maintaining data integrity, and contributing to initiatives that improve HR service delivery.
What you'll do#
- Provide first-line support and coaching to employees and managers regarding HR policies, programs, and lifecycle activities such as onboarding, compensation, and performance management.
- Assist in the deployment of HR processes to ensure they remain compliant with company policy and local legislation.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to foster effective communication.
- Ensure the voice of employees and managers is shared with relevant teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Participate in projects designed to increase the overall effectiveness of human resources operations.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited U.S. college or university, specifically in Business Administration, Human Resources, Labor Relations, or related fields.
- A minimum GPA of 2.5 is preferred.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship.
- A commitment of 4 to 12 months, depending on program requirements.
- Basic knowledge of HR consulting practices, process execution, and data analytics.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate needs and concerns effectively.
- Self-awareness and a willingness to learn from feedback and on-the-job experiences.
- Must currently reside within the continental United States.

- This is a paid, on-site internship for Summer 2027.
- Locations include Columbus, IN; Minneapolis, MN; Rocky Mount, NC; and Charleston, SC.
- Candidates must be able to manage academic responsibilities alongside job performance.
