About the role#
As a Web Application Development Intern, you will design, develop, and maintain client-facing applications to support business requirements. You will follow established life cycle methodologies, create design documents, write code, and configure DevOps utilities. This role involves resolving technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation while working in a hybrid environment.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and maintain custom applications or configure corporate systems.
- Analyze and translate user requirements into application systems.
- Plan, investigate, and propose system and application solutions.
- Prepare workflows for writing, testing, and maintaining programs.
- Architect program specifications and business logic.
- Create and update user manuals and technical documentation.
- Correct and test changes to existing programs.
- Conduct training sessions and presentations.
- Support existing applications and consult with users to clarify objectives.
- Participate in a night and weekend rotation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Graduate degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related subject.
- Hands-on experience with object-oriented languages or frameworks, relational database management systems, and web technologies.
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Professionalism and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Commitment to a 40-hour work week for 10-12 weeks during the summer.
- Ability to stay current with technological developments and best practices.
