About the role#
The Raw Material Engineering Intern will support the Environmental Technologies team in Painted Post, New York. You will work on raw material qualification, supply assurance, and cost reduction projects across our global manufacturing network. This position provides hands-on experience in materials engineering and manufacturing support.
What you'll do#
- Collect, organize, and analyze technical data regarding raw materials.
- Assist engineers with material qualification studies and experimental plans.
- Prepare technical presentations, reports, and recommendations.
- Document findings and update stakeholders on project progress.
- Apply engineering and analytical tools to solve manufacturing and supply chain challenges.
- Collaborate with team members across multiple functions.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Ceramic Engineering, or a related field.
- Graduation date of December 2026 or later.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.

- Location: Painted Post, New York.
- Term: Summer 2027 (10 weeks, May through August).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $1,635.00 to $3,185.00 biweekly, depending on education level and location.
