About the role#
This internship focuses on problem solving and expanding technical knowledge within glass manufacturing processes. You will work alongside engineering teams to support various manufacturing initiatives. This position is a full-time, paid summer role for 2027. Please note that this position does not provide immigration sponsorship.
What you'll do#
- Author, supervise, and analyze experimental plans.
- Support engineering teams in conducting experiments and reviewing test results.
- Communicate project status and updates to the project team and management through memos, technical reports, and verbal presentations.
- Maintain direct communication with manufacturing, engineering, and research teams.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering field.
- Completion of at least 2 years of your degree program, with a preference for students who have finished their 3rd year.
- Strong lab and experimental practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Painted Post, New York, and requires travel to Canton, New York.
- The position is on-site.
- The pay range for this role is $1,635.00 to $3,185.00 biweekly, determined by location, position nature, and academic standing.
