About the role#
This internship provides a hands-on experience within the Global Supply Management function at Corning. You will work under the guidance of a mentor or supervisor to gain practical experience in a manufacturing environment. The program aims to build professional skills while you contribute to specific business and supply chain goals. Interns also participate in social, networking, and community volunteer activities throughout the summer.

- Apply supply chain fundamentals to complete assigned tasks.
- Develop your professional skills through project-based work.
- Collaborate with teams or work independently to meet business objectives.
- Engage with industry experts and company leaders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- A graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Ability to work autonomously and handle complex problem-solving.
- Flexibility to adjust priorities as project needs change.
- Proficiency using MS Office.
- Determination, commitment, and intellectual curiosity.
- Interest in pursuing a full-time career with Corning after graduation.
- Availability for a 10-week period during Summer 2027.
- Project management experience or knowledge of SAP is a plus.

- Compensation: This is a paid internship. Housing assistance and travel reimbursement are provided.
