About the role#
The Procurement Analytics Co-op provides hands-on experience in a global manufacturing setting. You will gain exposure to strategic sourcing, master data management, and digital transformation. This 6-month position offers mentorship from procurement professionals and the chance to influence business decisions through data-driven projects. You will work 8am to 5pm on a hybrid schedule.
What you'll do#
- Analyze procurement and spend data to find cost savings and process improvements.
- Build and maintain procurement reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
- Cleanse and manage procurement master data to support digital and AI initiatives.
- Work with cross-functional teams in Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance.
- Assist with supplier evaluations, sourcing projects, and documentation.
- Partner with the Data and Analytics Hub to develop AI-enabled solutions.
- Gain experience with enterprise procurement systems and continuous improvement projects.
- Develop your skills in project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or Economics.
- Previous internship, co-op, or relevant academic project experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI.
- Experience with Python, R, SQL, or other data tools is a plus.
- Interest in sourcing concepts like RFx processes, spend analysis, and total cost of ownership.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data visualization skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently or in a team.
