About the role#
This is a full-time co-op position based in Perrysburg, Ohio. The assignment covers the Summer and Fall 2027 terms, running from June through December. You will join the Finished Products group to learn about glass container manufacturing, with a focus on inspection and cold end operations.
What you'll do#
- Learn the glass container manufacturing process and the specific role of the Finished Products team.
- Study glass container inspection and the cold end area where products are inspected and packaged.
- Manage projects to advance cold end operations, from initial problem exploration to final solution rollout.
- Work with team members to reach a consensus on proposed solutions.
- Perform experiments in lab, pilot, and production environments.
- Prepare technical reports and present your findings to multidisciplinary teams.
- Create technical documentation, training videos, and other instructional materials for operations teams.
- Collaborate with various teams to deploy solutions across the organization.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Junior or Senior status is preferred.
- Ability to balance several projects at once.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Preferred: Experience creating video content, ability to self-start, comfort with changing priorities, and the ability to move quickly from ideation to execution.
