About the role#
This internship with the Corporate Technology & Staffs team focuses on data engineering for manufacturing, quality, and AI/ML initiatives. You will work with enterprise-scale datasets and cloud data platforms to support industrial analytics. The role offers hands-on experience in building data foundations and communicating technical insights.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python, SQL, and PySpark.
- Extract, transform, validate, and prepare data for reporting and analytics.
- Support Databricks and cloud-based data engineering projects.
- Build dashboards and visualizations to share findings.
- Document your work and present project results at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program for Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Availability for 10 weeks during Summer 2027.
- Willingness to work on-site at the Charlotte location.
