About the role#
COPT Defense Properties is hiring an IT Intern to join our team in Columbia, Maryland. This is a part-time, paid position with a rolling term. You will assist our IT department with daily operations, user support, and infrastructure tasks.
What you'll do#
- Provide Tier I and II support for desktop operating systems and applications.
- Monitor the help desk phone, email, and ticketing system to receive and resolve user issues.
- Assist the COPT Service Center with ticket management and endpoint imaging.
- Support network engineers with basic administration tasks.
- Manage IT equipment assets.
- Handle other related duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising junior or senior pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- You have strong analytical and technical skills.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- You have the ability to learn company-specific software.
