Water & Wastewater Treatment Engineering Intern (Master's level)

About the role#

As a Water and Wastewater Treatment Engineering Intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers to support the planning, design, and evaluation of municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities. This role provides exposure to treatment processes, facility operations, and multidisciplinary project delivery, allowing you to contribute to technical analyses and design efforts for new facilities, expansions, and rehabilitation projects.

What you'll do#

• Support the planning and design of water and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Assist with treatment process evaluations, calculations, and system sizing.
• Prepare technical memoranda, engineering reports, feasibility studies, and planning documents.
• Assist with the development of plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical team members.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a closely related engineering discipline.
• Completion of an undergraduate engineering degree.
• Strong interest in water and/or wastewater treatment engineering.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
