Field Operations Co-op (Spring 2027)

About the role#

The Field Operations Co-op supports Superintendents and Project Managers with safety program administration, quantity tracking, schedule analysis, and job site documentation. This role provides hands-on experience in field coordination and construction quality within an on-site environment.

What you'll do#

• Support the administration of the project safety program to ensure a compliant work environment.
• Provide technical assistance by interpreting contract drawings, submittals, and project documentation.
• Assist the project management team with daily and weekly activities, including preparing reports, conducting safety walks, and updating project schedules.
• Participate in the quality assurance program by attending meetings, performing site inspections, and verifying material compliance.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities to support adherence to project timelines and safety requirements.
• Monitor onsite material deliveries and inventory to facilitate project progress.
• Utilize construction management software to track and update project information.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Architecture, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of construction site safety standards, practices, and protocols.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with an aptitude for learning construction management software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, submittals, and technical documents.
• Basic understanding of construction scheduling, including critical path method concepts.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
