Field Operations Co-op

About the role#

The Field Operations Co-op supports Superintendents and Project Managers with safety program administration, quantity tracking, schedule analysis, and job site documentation. This full-time, on-site role is designed to provide hands-on experience in field coordination, schedule management, and construction quality.

What you'll do#

• Support the administration of the project safety program to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
• Assist with daily and weekly activities, including preparing daily reports and conducting safety walks.
• Review and contribute to the short-term planning process to ensure project milestones are met.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities to support adherence to project timelines and safety requirements.
• Utilize construction management software and tools to accurately track and update project information.
• Interpret contract drawings, submittals, and project documentation to provide technical assistance.
• Participate in the quality assurance program, including site inspections and material verification.
• Monitor onsite material deliveries and inventory to facilitate project progress.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of construction site safety standards, practices, and protocols.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, submittals, and technical documents.
• Basic understanding of construction scheduling, including critical path method (CPM) concepts.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage project documentation.
