About the role#
The Arch Energy Intern supports project teams in advancing energy and decarbonization objectives. This role provides hands-on experience in safety administration, risk monitoring, subcontractor coordination, and project documentation. You will work on-site at our construction locations to help reach our sustainability goals.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the execution of energy and decarbonization projects.
- Support the administration of project safety programs.
- Document risk management activities and monitor potential project risks.
- Record subcontractor daily work and manage the distribution of project information.
- Maintain accurate project documentation.
- Participate in weekly project meetings.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the project team.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Foundational understanding of energy efficiency, decarbonization strategies, and construction safety.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with or a willingness to learn project management and scheduling software.
- Basic knowledge of risk management processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- A self-motivated mindset with the ability to work independently or in a team.
Location & details#
- Location: Milford, Massachusetts.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time, on-site.
- Compensation: $24 - $29 per hour.
