About the role#
This Master's Level Internship position is based within the Child Outpatient program in Manchester, Connecticut. The role offers the opportunity to gain clinical experience in mental health and substance abuse evaluation and treatment. Interns will work alongside experienced staff to support children, adolescents, and families.
What you'll do#
- Participate in psychiatric and diagnostic evaluations.
- Assist with clinical treatment planning.
- Support independent living skills development.
- Engage in outreach treatment services.
- Observe and assist with medication evaluation and monitoring.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master’s degree program in a mental health field.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Demonstrated experience in mental health treatment is preferred but not required.

- Location: Manchester, Connecticut.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Schedule: 10 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Modality: On-site.
- Note: This is an unpaid internship.
