About the role#
Communicare Official is hiring an intern to provide direct behavioral health counseling and consultation services. You will work under the guidance of the Clinic Manager and Site Supervisor to support our clients. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy services.
- Complete accurate and timely charting and documentation.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to discuss client care.
- Attend mandatory in-services and training programs.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, or a related mental health field.
- Current enrollment in a university-sponsored academic internship or practicum training program in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Dependability and the ability to interact effectively with the public and staff.
- Adaptability to handle frequent changes or unexpected events.
- Physical ability to perform tasks like filing records, which requires stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
