About the role#
This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to support our recruitment and hiring efforts in Monroe, Wisconsin. You will work within our Human Resources department to help meet temporary hiring goals, ensuring we have the staff needed to support our operations. The position runs from June through December 2027.
What you'll do#
- Interview candidates and hire new employees.
- Lead orientation sessions for new hires.
- Perform reference and background checks on applicants.
- Process hiring-related paperwork.
- Conduct surveys with temporary employees.
- Update and enter drug screening information into our computer system.
- Support the Human Resource Manager with assigned projects and tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Associate degree program in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Junior or Senior standing, or a completed Associate degree in Business. Recent graduates are also eligible.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.80 or higher.
- Strong communication skills with an empathetic approach.
- Ability to handle difficult conversations or situations diplomatically.
- Exceptional organizational skills and effective presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Foundational knowledge of Human Resources functions.

- This is a paid, full-time internship located on-site in Monroe, Wisconsin.
