About the role#
This is a 12-week internship during summer 2027 within the Finance team. As a Tax Operations Intern, you will contribute to tax provisioning, financial reporting, and compliance processes. You will work with the Tax Controller to gain experience in balance sheet reconciliations, internal controls, and audit support.
What you'll do#
- Own tax provisioning and financial reporting tasks, including balance sheet account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
- Prepare documentation and respond to information requests to support internal and external audits.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Build and update process documentation for recurring tasks.
- Execute ad hoc financial analyses and special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree or certificate in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Familiarity with US GAAP concepts.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Interest in digital assets and the crypto economy with a willingness to develop domain expertise.
- Responsible use of generative AI to maintain human oversight and improve workflow efficiency.
