About the role#
This is a 12-week paid internship for Summer 2027. You will join the Policy team to gain hands-on experience with how Coinbase shapes crypto policy. Depending on team needs, you may work on community engagement, technical research, or a mix of both. This role requires the ability to switch between outward-facing advocacy and detailed policy analysis.
What you'll do#
- Support policy workstreams including advocacy, stakeholder outreach, and regulatory analysis.
- Draft materials such as white papers, talking points, social media posts, and presentation decks.
- Research legislative and regulatory developments and turn findings into actionable briefs.
- Provide operational support through proofreading, data compilation, and project coordination.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree or certificate program in political science, international relations, public policy, law, or a related field.
- Proven research skills, including experience writing analysis on policy or legislative topics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
- A proactive, self-starter mindset and comfort working in ambiguous situations.
- Experience using generative AI responsibly for professional tasks.
- A collaborative approach to teamwork.
