About the role#
This is a 12-week internship taking place during summer 2027. You will join the Machine Learning team to build models and pipelines that secure the platform, personalize user experiences, and support crypto use cases. You will own a research-to-production project from start to finish, applying ML techniques to real-world problems at blockchain scale.
What you'll do#
- Develop, deploy, and operate machine learning models and pipelines at production scale.
- Drive an end-to-end research project that applies modern ML techniques to a defined business problem.
- Partner with senior engineers and product teams to identify new ML applications for blockchain and crypto.
- Present your findings and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Ph.D. program with published or in-progress research in machine learning, deep learning, or a related field.
- Proficiency in building and training models using frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience applying supervised, unsupervised, or reinforcement learning to structured or unstructured datasets.
- Knowledge of software engineering fundamentals, including version control, testing, and writing production-quality Python code.
- Ability to use generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
