About the role#
This is a 12-week internship during Summer 2027. You will join the Business Controller group within the Finance team to manage and improve the finance product launch review program. You will coordinate work across teams including Product, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, and Operations to ensure launch reviews are scoped correctly and risks are identified.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate finance product launch review workstreams across Finance and cross-functional partners.
- Support launch reviews by evaluating requirement documents, determining stakeholder impact, and confirming the validity of test transactions.
- Maintain project plans, action-item trackers, launch dashboards, status updates, and process documentation.
- Facilitate follow-up with stakeholders to resolve open questions, address blockers, and keep launch deliverables on track.
- Identify opportunities to improve the launch review process through data, AI, automation, and standardized workflows.
- Collaborate with Controllership, Tax, Treasury, Risk, Product, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, and Operations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Coursework in US GAAP or financial reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Proven ability to bring structure to ambiguous processes and communicate progress clearly.
- Experience synthesizing data from multiple sources and presenting clear, structured findings.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools and working knowledge of SQL or analytics platforms.
- Ability to utilize generative AI responsibly with human oversight.
