About the role#
Clean Harbors is hiring interns for our Industrial Services team in Deer Park, Texas, for the Summer 2027 term. This full-time, paid program offers students the chance to work alongside HPC Industrial teams. You will gain exposure to various career paths, including project management, operations, engineering, chemistry, and human resources. Interns will work in office and field settings depending on their specific assignment.
What you'll do#
- Make health and safety your number one priority by following all safe work practices.
- Gain hands-on experience alongside field teams and operational leaders.
- Assist with projects, technical work, or data collection.
- Participate in team meetings, safety discussions, and daily operational activities.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and chemists.
- Engage in networking and professional development activities.
- Complete and present a final internship project at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree, certificate, or technical program related to Business Administration, Chemistry, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- A strong interest in gaining hands-on experience within Industrial Services.
- Willingness to learn in both office and field environments.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well in a professional team environment.
- For field assignments, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb stairs, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.

- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).

- Compensation: $20 per hour.
