About the role#
This is a full-time, paid summer internship for 2026. You will work on-site in Kitchener, Ontario, to help maintain municipal cemetery grounds.
What you'll do#
- Cut grass and perform general landscaping tasks.
- Plant trees and shrubs.
- Maintain cemetery infrastructure and facilities.
- Clean and prepare your work areas before and after tasks.
- Follow all safety protocols while working.
What you'll need#
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in different weather conditions.
- Ability to use hand tools and equipment safely.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping or maintenance.
- Enrollment in a relevant program such as Environmental Engineering, Agriculture, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or Kinesiology.
