    About the role#

    This is a full-time, paid Administrative Assistant Co-op position with the CIBC Wood Gundy team in Halifax. You will work on-site for a 4-month term from January 2027 to April 2027. This role supports the branch manager and investment advisors within our full-service brokerage division.

    What you'll do#

    • Manage the reception area and handle day-to-day branch activities.
    • Provide administrative support to the branch manager, investment advisors, and their teams.
    • Deliver customer service to clients and respond to their requests.
    • Maintain compliance standards for all client files and dealings.
    • Assist with administrative processes related to branch management and operations.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a post-secondary program with plans to return to full-time studies.
    • Working toward a Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline.
    • Knowledge of business, economics, or finance through your education or experience.
    • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
    • Ability to work on-site full-time.

    • Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia.
    • Term: Winter 2027 (January to April).
    • Employment type: Full-time, temporary.
    • Eligibility: You must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
