About the role#
The Student Coordinator assists the Motion Student Director in managing the systems and activities that support the ministry to middle and high school students. This role involves administrative work, team leadership, and direct support for student gatherings. You will work alongside the Highlands Students Team to organize retreats, mission trips, and weekly events while maintaining the ministry's financial and creative operations.
What you'll do#
- Build and lead teams to support Motion services, outreaches, and events.
- Manage logistics for 12 Motion Nights and 26 Motion Midweek gatherings each year.
- Plan middle school, high school, and Saturate retreats, including rooming lists and transportation.
- Coordinate logistics for mission trips and the annual Motion Conference.
- Handle purchase orders, receipts, and event finances.
- Oversee creative projects and social media presence.
- Manage follow-up processes and connections for new team members.
What you'll need#
- Experience in event planning, team building, and financial management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Rock, Intacct, Martus, and Google Workspace.
- Ability to recruit and develop volunteers.
- Background in fields such as Psychology, Business Administration, Communications, or Human Resources.
- A servant-hearted approach and strong organizational skills.
