About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will join the team to gain experience in corporate finance, reporting, and strategic planning within the insurance industry.
What you'll do#
- Support annual planning, strategic planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Maintain and update analytical packages, schedules, and various reports.
- Build and update analytics for management presentations.
- Help enhance management expense reporting.
- Integrate AI tools into existing analytics and reporting workflows.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Intellectual agility and a willingness to learn new concepts.
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- A results-oriented mindset and a strong work ethic.
- Capability to take ownership of tasks and show initiative.
- A client-focused approach to work.
Location & details#
- Locations: Columbia, SC; Chicago, IL; Portland, ME; or Chattanooga, TN.
- Modality: Hybrid, with four days per week in the office.
- Compensation: $18 to $24 per hour, depending on skills and geographic location.
- Sponsorship: This role does not offer visa sponsorship.
