About the role#
We are looking for a Grain Operations Intern to join our team in Morris, Illinois for the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position. You will work directly with our agriculture retail customers to ensure they receive high-quality service and support.
What you'll do#
- Control and monitor all loadout functions.
- Operate automatic scale and dump systems.
- Blend products as prescribed and manage the blending process.
- Interact with patrons in a professional and courteous manner.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of inventory and blended products.
- Load and unload products from trucks.
- Operate heavy equipment as required.
- Handle facility cleaning, maintenance, and record-keeping.
- Follow all company safety policies and operational procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Agriculture Business, Crop Science, or related degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills.
- Previous agriculture experience or background knowledge is preferred.
- Prior internship experience is a plus.
