About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship based in Wilmot, South Dakota. You will work on-site to support our agronomy operations. The role runs during the Winter and Summer of 2027. You will work alongside experienced professionals to gain practical skills in the agriculture industry.
What you'll do#
- Learn core agronomy skills, including scouting, crop protection, nutrient products, and seed handling.
- Assist with custom application procedures, mixing, truck driving, and product delivery.
- Perform daily agronomy and seed operations.
- Monitor inventory quality and manage record keeping.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment that meets all environmental and safety policies.
- Help with repairs and preventative maintenance for equipment like sprayers, floaters, trucks, conveyors, and towers.
- Provide customer service and assist clients as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or related agriculture degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to operate machinery, including loaders, tractors, conveyors, and track mobile.
- Flexibility to work extended hours during peak seasons.
- A CDL license and forklift certification are preferred.
