About the role#
We are looking for an Agronomy Operations Intern to join our team in Corsica, South Dakota. This is a paid, full-time position with a rolling start date beginning in Spring 2025. You will work on-site to gain hands-on experience with agronomy operations while supporting our customers.
What you'll do#
- Learn core agronomy skills including crop scouting, nutrient and protection products, seed management, and custom application procedures.
- Handle mixing procedures, truck driving, and product delivery.
- Perform daily agronomy and seed operations.
- Monitor inventory quality and maintain accurate records.
- Keep the facility clean and organized.
- Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment like sprayers, floaters, trucks, conveyors, and towers.
- Provide customer service and ensure all work follows local, state, and company safety and environmental policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or related agriculture degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- An agriculture background or previous internship experience is helpful but not required.
