About the role#
As an Agronomy Operations Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the farming industry. You will work directly with our team in Newark to support daily operations and provide service to our customers. This is a paid, full-time internship opportunity that runs from Winter 2027 through Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Learn core agronomy skills including crop scouting, product application, and mixing procedures.
- Handle seed and agronomy operations while monitoring inventory quality.
- Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment like sprayers, trucks, conveyors, and loaders.
- Manage site housekeeping and keep accurate records.
- Provide customer service and ensure all work follows environmental and safety policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or related agriculture degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to operate machinery such as tractors, loaders, and conveyors.
- Availability to work extended hours during peak seasons.
- A CDL license and forklift certification are preferred.
