About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship based in Pierre, South Dakota. You will work alongside experienced professionals to gain practical skills in the agriculture industry. The position is available for the Winter 2027 and Summer 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
- Learn general agronomy skills, including crop scouting, product application, and delivery procedures.
- Perform daily agronomy and seed operations.
- Monitor inventory quality and handle record keeping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment like sprayers, trucks, conveyors, and towers.
- Provide customer service and support to our clients.
- Follow all state, local, and company safety and environmental policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or related agriculture degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Agriculture experience or background knowledge is helpful.
- Previous internship experience is helpful but not required.
